Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Kseniia Stetsenko began dancing at age 7 at FORS Dance School under the direction E. Bichko. She then studied at Lifar Academy of Dance, where she received her classical and modern training from Dmytro Klyavin, G. Zarytska, and Tetyana Golyakova. While studying at the Academy, Kseniia received 1st place at the International Competition of Classical and Contemporary Choreography (Kyiv), and an award from the mayor of Kyiv for success in developing the culture of the city. She also studied at the Drahomanov Pedagogical University.

Upon graduation in June 2016, Stetsenko was accepted into the National Opera of Ukraine as a soloist, where she performed many roles in the classical ballets, including Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and more, touring and performing around the world in Japan, Taiwan, Italy, France, and Brazil. From 2020 - 2022, she was also a ballet teacher for the National figure skating team of Ukraine.

In February 2022, Stetsenko moved to the Netherlands to join UUB, where she danced the works of Alexei Ratmansky, Jiri Kylian, Igone de Jongh, Thom Stuart, and Rinus Sprong. At the end of 2022, she relocated to Chicago and is excited to join the Faculty of West Suburban Ballet Conservatory.
