Summer 2024

It was another great summer at WSBC! Several of our alumni who were home for the summer joined us for classes and we were able to spend some long days with our graduates before they headed off to their next big adventures. We learned repertoire, worked on variations, conditioned, and had classical and contemporary classes from WSBC Faculty and Guest Faculty, including Jennifer Lauren, Principal Dancer with Miami City Ballet.

Again this year, we took the last week before heading back into the fall schedule as a Nutcracker Intensive, during which we got a jump start on staging by learning and rehearsing divertissements, staging Snow and Flowers, and working on various scenes from Act I and Act II.
